Every one of us finds a reason to live; some encounter life-altering moments where they discover abundant reasons to continue, much like the author. The book is easily accessible and relatable. Despite delving into some of her challenging and painful childhood experiences, the author infuses humor throughout the narrative. I highly recommend it for readers.

From childhood through adulthood this author details her life through riveting stories that many of us in the modern world couldn’t even fathom. Very compelling and highly recommend!

Excellent book. A must read!

True beauty

I enjoyed the reading very much, it was very moving for me, beginning to the end! I also left my home country to move to USA so I could relate bit with her story! If this event didn’t happen to us, we wouldn’t know what it meant, so through her sharing we can experience how it felt to be in that situation and she did a great job to express it and make you living it through all those emotions!
Great stories about family relationships and how family is the center of love, we always want to go back to!

This book truly shares the many circumstances and emotions that the author felt but also resonates in my heart. I guess this is what it means the humanity in us. We may be different folks of color, nationality and creed but we share values that are intrinsic and universal. I specially love the poem “This is not my home”. (Part III, 001). It speaks of the life most of us are living. Well, i hope we can live in our own home where true love is at the center. Happy reading
